There are all kinds of ways to be inspired by and interpret works of art.
Collaborations offers a place for people to work together to realize projects that take works in the Gallery’s collection as a starting point.

We have an open submissions policy and encourage people to think in cross-disciplinary ways. For more information, please e-mail artgalleryinfo@yale.edu.

What is Otto and Why Does it Matter?
Otto (short for automatic) is the creation of the editors and designer's of this year's graduate student publication Palimpsest: Yale Literary and Arts Magazine. Otto is an enthusiastic digital designer–a computer program–that has made striking connections between student work and the Gallery's collections. Each copy of the magazine is an individual shuffle of text and image; no two are the same. Pick up a copy and see what Otto means to you.
