The Object Study Classroom (OSC) is available to Yale faculty and teaching fellows who wish to use works of art from the Gallery’s collection in their Yale courses. The OSC offers instructors the opportunity to teach with objects from collections not normally on public view, in a private, small-group setting. The OSC may be scheduled for a single class or multiple sessions depending on course needs. Information about most of the objects in our collections is searchable online via the Gallery’s collection database, eCatalogue.

The OSC is located on the ground floor of the Gallery. In addition to providing space for examining original works of art, the OSC is equipped with a laptop, Internet access, and a digital projector.
